Introduction ofwood logs furnace

Sawdust carbonization furnace is a new type charcoal machine, it could deal with raw materials such as wood waste, wood branch, sawdust briquette, palm shell, coconut shell and etc. This carbonization furnace is our latest carbonization equipment, which is a single tank dry distillation continuous rotary sawdust charcoal carbonization furnace. It has big diameter, large capacity, simple operation and wide applications for charcoal raw materials. Before the carbonization, the raw material can be shaped briquettes or shapeless material such as wood logs, wood strips etc. Carbonization furnace with single tank rotary is to carbonize the biomass briquette into wood charcoal.

Advantages ofwood logs furnace

This new type carbonization furnace is separated from the combustion chamber, and the carbonization hearth adopts flexible installation with continuous work. A furnace can be equipped with several charring hearth which no need preheating when replacing it. The carbonization hearth is cooled outside the carbonization furnace, thus it greatly improves the carbonization efficiency, saving the devices, labor and costs. The carbonization furnace has the advantages of good sealing effect; simple structure; easy operation and maintenance; high carbonization rate and less pollution; it is the newest design continuous rotary sawdust charcoal carbonization furnace and can work continuously.

Carbonization furnace with single tank rotary  for biomass charcoal can greatly increase carbonizing tio (increased from about 88% to 99%) and shortened the carbonizing time (from 24 hours to 6 hours), and shows the features of easy operation, higher safety, high efficiency, and energy saving. This furnace is ideal equipment for wood briquettes to have anoxic distillation carbonization.

Working principles ofwood logs furnace

Preparation

Open the lid of carbonization furnace, lift out the inner tank, put raw material in, and then put the inner tank back. Close the lid then seal it so that no oxygen could come inside.

Heating

After sealing process, use wood waste or gas to heat furnace from the bottom. After 10 minutes burning, the temperature reaches 90℃, turn to use slow fire to heat. This process will take 60-120 minutes to reduce water vapor from your materials.

Carbonization

Keep heating, after the temperature reaches 180-235 ℃, the raw material will produce flammable gas from the inner tank. Reuse the gas as fuel to heat the inner tank. The whole process will last about 8 hours. When the temperature reaches highest and no flammable gas is produced, the carbonization process is finish.

Cooling

Lift the inner tank out and cooling down the temperature naturally. The longer cooling time is, the better quality of charcoal is. After about 10 hours, you can take charcoal out.

To expand the capacity, users can connect several furnaces into a 1 group, share 1 lifting crane, and also connect a smoke purifier system to reduce the smoke and get flammable gas for recycling use. The continuous rotary sawdust charcoal carbonization furnace has its own separated internal furnace with large volume. In addition, we also provide box-type dry distillation continuous rotary sawdust charcoal carbonization furnace that has more internal furnaces inside.
